Where to stay in Fuerteventura: choosing the area

Fuerteventura covers 1,659 km² and is the second largest Canary Island after Tenerife. Its coast has more than 150 beaches. Where you sleep shapes the holiday: wind, sea and distances are not the same in the north and the south.

The north: Corralejo

Corralejo is home to the villas we manage. Boats leave its harbour every day for Lobos Island, a nature reserve fifteen minutes away, and for Lanzarote. The Dunes Natural Park is a few minutes away. Restaurants and services stay open all year.

The west coast: El Cotillo

El Cotillo is an old fishing village. Its cliffs draw surfers, while the white lagoons of La Concha suit families with children.

Inland: Betancuria

Betancuria was the first capital of the Canary Islands. Walkers and drivers find plains and volcanic ridges, much of it protected land.

The south: Jandía and Cofete

In the south, the Jandía peninsula leads to Cofete beach, reached only along a long dirt road.

How to choose

If you want the sea every day, a harbour and village life, Corralejo is the place. Wave seekers look to El Cotillo, those after quiet look inland. Our villas in Corralejo will open for rent once they are finished: join the waiting list and you will be the first to know.
