Corralejo, the dunes and Cofete: north and south Fuerteventura in two days

From Corralejo you can reach two of the island's strongest landscapes: the white dunes a few minutes from town and Cofete beach at the far south. We suggest them to our guests on two separate days.
Corralejo
The town lives around its harbour. Boats leave every day for Lobos Island, a nature reserve fifteen minutes away with trails, a lagoon and clear water, and for Lanzarote. Restaurants and services stay open all year.
The Dunes Natural Park
Just outside Corralejo the Dunes Natural Park begins: pale sand running down to the ocean, a landscape that looks like a piece of the Sahara. The best light comes at sunset.
Cofete
Cofete is a very long beach beneath the mountains of the Jandía peninsula. It is reached only along a long dirt road and is one of the wildest places in the Canary Islands. Leave early and bring water.
Planning the day
Off-road tours through Jandía Natural Park also reach Cofete: we arrange them on request with selected partners. For the dunes, a walk from town is enough.
The Moneiba villas in Corralejo will open for rent once they are finished. Join the waiting list or ask us to book a tour.
